The IO717 I/O module provides a two-channel 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) interface. The interface supports 100 Mbit/s, and 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbit/s transmission rates.
The two-channel Ethernet interface of the IO717 can perform an auto-negotiation algorithm for 100 MbE, 1 GbE, and 10 GbE, allowing both link partners to identify the best link parameters.
The IO717 I/O module provides support for the following protocols:
