The Analog Power Source (APS) Blockset enables you to connect and control Spitzenberger & Spies APS - AC/DC 4- Quadrant Voltage Amplifiers from the Simulink real-time model that is running on the Speedgoat Real-time target machine.
The Spitzenberger & Spies power amplifiers seamlessly integrate the power interface into your real-time simulation, enabling the emulation of electric motors, power grids, or vehicle systems. This allows you to safely test your electrical devices, such as inverters, motor drives, along with embedded controllers, without the risk of any damage.
Use the ready-to-build three-phase or single-phase inverter example to extend your own Simulink model with the APS interface. Use the Simulink blocks provided in the Speedgoat- APS HDL I/O Blockset to deploy the APS interface alongside your model to a Speedgoat Simulink-programmable FPGA I/O module to achieve sample rates in the MHz range.
